A Bother’s Bar campaign

By | November 15, 2017

Years ago we did a half-arsed campaign to bring back The Krypton Factor. Success (years after we forgotten we did it).

It’s now time to get incredible Korean reality game The Genius Game on Netflix, and you might be able to make it happen by suggesting it. Only the form will do.

If you want to fill in the gaps, why not pick other Korean shows such as Running Man, Crime Scene, Society Game et al? This isn’t as stupid as it appears, Netflix has dipped a toe into subtitled Korean entertainment. There is certainly no guarantees – there may be rights issues, but it’s certainly well thought of from people who search for it so maybe, maybe there is a chance. And if it ends up being successful, who knows?

Sounds like they’ve changed the format a little bit – no Way of the Warrior? Or is The Last Stand the new Way of the Warrior?

No the last stand is the final game. Looks like instant elimination instead of the chance of way of the warrior. Not unless they are keeping quiet about that. I presume the advert will drop next week.

And it’s four groups of four- one group plays three eps over three days, group winners playoff in eps 13/14/15…and this is just speculation from the description, but it looks like the first elimination is early in ep 2 of a cycle, then the 2nd one just before The Last Stand…( I suspect also they won’t use lives and rings but simply use rings as the scoring format)

Oh yeah, I forgot. HQ (that live trivia game show app like that live pub quiz app- forgot the name)just recently had its first $1000 game. It gameplay is essentially “get 12 questions right with out getting one wrong and you share the prize money with other winners.”
You should play too. Use my code ‘m62259’ to sign up At https://get.hqtrivia.com they have this where if you invite more people you can get one wrong and NOT be eliminated. It has… potential.

An article on who made it ( the creators of vine) and more info: https://techcrunch.com/2017/10/17/hq-trivia/amp/
