That seems pretty quick! It was only last week that they filmed it.

I’ve seen articles about the changes this year, and…they’re quite the mixed bag.

Seems pretty quick but end of June from end of May filming feels pretty standard really.

Agreed on mixed-bag. I’m glad they’re finding alternatives to People Undoing A Padlock, but the red clepsydres were handled pretty badly last year I thought and I’m annoyed they’re coming back.

At least they’ve reskinned the Asylum, which was one of last year’s stronger ideas. Unfortunately they appear to have kept Dino Rodeo, I hope they’ve made some changes to it because it was pretty dire otherwise.

Can’t quite work out what they keep seeing in the Mechanical Spider.

I agree on a mix bag too. I don’t believe there to be any massive format changes been mentioned either.

I did actually like Dino Rodeo although it was mainly for the music. Asylum was a nice concept just a shame about the trouble it had last year. Apparently Jars is now part of Manoir and Cylinders has been replaced by a new bank game. And Casino had a few changes too.

I actually believe Mechanical Spider is on the fort because it funny to watch them. Although granted i thought this year throwing balls was the worst of the 3 Versions.

I’m probably most excited about the Bank game. It sounds like it might be a properly good game and they’ve got all the space for it.

Bal de Bodins might be weirdly amusing in the same way that Eric Lampaert first was…or it could be the worst thing they’ve ever done.

Also don’t like how they’ve removed the Vaisseau Spatial to replace it with…nothing.

Replace the last point with “De la Terre à la Lune” there, Vaisseau Spatial is getting something with crocodiles in it.

Think they are using De la Terre à la Lune for storage for the Cage.

Wonder if this means they could bring back outside ledge for a one off.

Bal de Bodins, I suspect, is going to be a direct rip-off of Ellen’s blindfold musical chairs.

Not sure about the catapult phone box, surely the joke only works for one series? We’ll see anyway.

If you can’t wait till June 23rd. The Belgium are doing the airing a day early like last year on Friday June 22nd.

So how do people watch without subs ? as love fort boyard but never really tried to watch this since no english subs. But guess its pretty easy to pick up on what the aim of each game is ?

Basically, yeah. As it’s mostly a physical show it’s pretty easy to follow what’s going on.

Agree with Alex. Most games are easy to pick up on (The new ones might take a few attempts). The Format tends to stay the same so you know to expect the Key games (With Cage), Judgement, Clues games, Prison Escape, Council, Treasure Room.

There are lots of old eps on Youtube. Why not watch one and see how you get on? We can explain anything that’s confusing.

Saw your tweet about Moneydrome- I’m thinking it might be this based on the description…

(this was a concept video, so they might be working on shooting a full pilot..)

It certainly feels a bit like it, but the Lost In TV description is clearly suggesting it’s an Endemol production and there’s no hint of them anywhere on that promo.

Also I note they’re doing an Italian pilot as well.

Thank you! I am really looki g forward to this, hopefully it is an adult version, though I can’t imagine any channel where this would fit. But I love the prospect of another German season, every attempt so far had a different format so interesting to see what they will do with it. It was probably one of the most important shows for me growing up. The others being Sports Bakka, Le Tresor de Pago Pago (would love to see an episode if anyone has one), 100000 Mark Show, La Piste de Xapatan and Takeshi’s Castle, but the old editing style.

Oh and funnily enough: Desert Forges. Somehow most of them weren’t very succesful, but they planted so many ideas in my young head!
