Here’s a PRESS RELEASE:

Remember the interactive game show we trialled last year? Well, we’re back! Now titledThe Hit List, it’s the quiz where you can compete from home with the contestants who are live in the studio. We’ve got a new set, new cameras, new graphics, a tweaked format and a lot more…

The show will take place on Tuesday 24th February at 4.30pm UK time (that’s 5.30pm CET, 11.30am Eastern, 8.30am Pacific). For those of you that have a little more time to spare, there will be a warm-up game earlier in the afternoon.

As usual Tom Scott is your host, aided by the enigmatic Mr B.

Mr. B will be performing Osman duties then? Not used to seeing Tom not in his iconic red shirt.

Very much looking forward to it!

Philosopher game shows was briefly a meme in my office last year. I think my better half was declared winner with Rousseau You Think You Can Dance.

I also once formatted a philosophy panel show which didn’t get commissioned called Is This A Question?

Is there a time for the warm-up game, please? I’ll be travelling up north when the main event is on but would love to be part of it if I could.

I’ve left it vague for a reason. I would guesstimate a start time of 1.30pm +/- 30 minutes. There is a lot of black magic, holodrives and magical unicorns involved in getting the live pictures onto the internet. Depending on how well the set-up goes, it could be later (unlikely to be earlier).

And yes, as before it will be a YouTube stream you’ll need to watch it – sorry for not making that clear. We will tweet the video stream address on @hitlistquiz on the day, and there will be status messages on that stream throughout the afternoon to tell you what’s happening.
