London and Belfast is a strange combination, given I’m in the latter I may be tempted to audition, although I keep secretly hoping these forms are for Million Dollar Mind Game or The Genius, and this seems like it’s neither. Any ideas as to what this may be, or does it seem like an entirely new format?

On Friday on 1000 Heartbeats a contestant made it through the 6th game and was presented with the final one — Recall. You have to memorise an 11-element letters and numbers sequence and then say it once it’s gone off screen. Any mistake means return to the start and the sequence is shown again.

That seems to be bloody difficult, I don’t think anyone’s ever going to take it on.

You just have to give the sequence some meaning by turning it into a story – so, QR45PC42XL99S might become “Queen rates 45 per cent for two x-tra large ice creams”.

I should add that the guy who saw game 7 had the absolute dream run – the best games and the easiest questions (e.g. anagrams of fruit). Shame he didn’t get Decipher on the first go because it was well set-up

I can’t understand why people can’t do that one with the circle of letters. If it’s a six letter word, just start at each point and try every combination. They’re not even anticlockwise occasionally!
