TV’s worst kept secret is finally revealed today, top quizzer Jenny Ryan is the new Chaser, The Vixen (and I believe she’s “on” this afternoon). We broke that there was a new Chaser coming FIRST, and Buzzerblog worked out who it was ages ago, so well done us.

In other news Taskmaster starts on Dave next Tuesday, and the one big takeaway from this Digital Spy interview is that Alex Horne used to be a logger on Big Brother:

It makes me wonder if they played yesterday’s The Chase out of order or something as Jenny was in the “possible chasers” selection at the start of the show yesterday but not today and I’d be surprised if they were introducing her before the Summer break rather than after as it’s not really been promoted (there were prime time adverts when Paul joined) and there’s only next week before Freeze Out starts according to provisional listings.
I actually agree on that- you’d think they would have done a big thing for her first appearance (like Bradley showed them the current four, then told them they weren’t going to face any of them today and introduced her)…Maybe they wanted to surprise people?

I hope that somebody uploads one of the Vixen’s episodes onto YouTube–in full and with good sound: not just her part of a Final Chase. I’d like to see if she is Chaser material.
I remember that I wondered if Paul Sinha was Chaser material, until I saw him in action and realized that he was indeed such.
I also hope that, when it starts to air, somebody uploads episodes of the Australian version of “The Chase”. Want to see what kind of job the host does; want to see which Aussie Chasers will be joining the Governess up there.
