The Dutch Pointless Set Is So Bright I Gotta Wear Shades

By | July 23, 2015

Thanks to FOTB Squared Eyes for the heads-up:

Blimey.

Note also three teams, the set looks a little bit the German one, I wonder how much inspiration has been taken from Null Gewinnt which I thought was a pretty good reversioning to make episodes self-contained although evidently not popular enough to get a second run, hopefully the Dutch one will do a bit better.

The show starts on Monday.

Wonder if they’ll follow one of the other formats (can’t remember where it was at the moment) for the final…the main difference is that if any answer gets down to 10, they stop the count temporarily, and offer them €2,000 to end the game right there-even if they had answers left, or try for €10,000 for a Pointless answer (Maingame Pointless answers are worth €500 they keep win or lose).

Also apropos of nothing, Penn & Teller: Fool Us has finally returned for a second series, but this time only in the U.S. … and still hosted by Jonathan Ross.

Race to Escape starts tonight on The Science Channel in the US, likely to be something worth keeping an eye on.

    It’s an Escape Room gameshow.

Hmm, right now I’m just getting a black screen whether I go through a VPN or not. Might try again tomorrow as I’m out this evening…

It may not be on the website yet as it has not aired. It may go like after the episode is shown and this may just be a holding page.

It was working fine for me online this morning- it was a sneak preview of the episode.

I don’t have a VPN, but if you can bear to wait a few hours after broadcast, I just googled Vidbull and “Race to Escape”.
