Ipod, Therefore I Am
Well, hasn’t the iPod done very well for itself? Now you can even “do” games for it, and excitingly some of these are based around your favourite and not so favourite gameshows!
A few things:
- First, all these apps can be found in the UK store – I’m afraid I can’t vouch for overseas.
- I’m playing these all on an iPad. Where the option to buy an iPhone/iPod Touch version and an iPad version exist, I’m buying the iPad version. Smaller games will be played at full scale.
- The version reviewed will be noted as well as the requirements at the time of writing.
- If you can connect to an outside place to post high scores and the like, I’ll tell you, and also tell you who I am so you can feel free to join me and compare scores.
- Because they can change so often, I’m not bothering with the prices – links will be provided, go and have a look yourselves.

Please do feel free to recommend apps that might be of interest, I’m not scared of spending 59p or whatever for “content”. It may take a little time to work through the backlog though, I’m currently doing 1-2 reviews a week.

Ellen DeGeneres’s show has a new app based off her “Know or Go” segment (which is essentially her version of Russian Roulette, well only the “falling through a hole if you get an answer wrong” part)

Is there any similar list for Android type phones? I bought one recently, and would like to play something that isn’t yet another Angry Birds-a-like
Regrettably it’s not something I can help with as I don’t have anything Android ( mynphone is a cheap £20 thing), although I’m sure there are knowledgeable punters whos may be able to help?
