Live from Belgrade, it's time for...

The Eurovision Prediction Contest 2008

Amazing. Well, it's almost Eurosong time again and this year we're making it even MORE interesting than usual because there's up to £120 resting on your punditry.

The rules are simple. You only have to answer two questions:

  1. How many points will the Big Four (that's the UK, France, Germany and Spain) receive in total?
  2. Which country do you want to represent your prize money?

That's right. The winner of the competition will be the person nearest to the correct answer for question one without going over the actual amount, and they will win 20p for every point their chosen country recieves in the Eurovision Grand Final, or semi-final if they get that far. If you get within douze points for question one, you'll also get a £20 bonus.

Last year, Serbia scored 268 points, that would have netted you £53.60. With 43 countries competing this year, the maximum points avaliable are 504 (assuming one country gets 12 points from each of the other 42) - That's £100.80, with the £20 bonus, you could win up to £120.80!

The juries have spoken!
Here are all the runner's and riders for this year's Eurovision Competition. The final is on Saturday 24th.

In the event of two people giving the same winning answer to question one, the money will go to whoever picks the higher scoring country to represent them. If that's also a tie, the money will be split equally between the winning contestants.
