The Bother Series of Poker is Bother's Bar's very own no limit hold 'em poker league, played with real money and with real money added to the final league result. Anyone who reads the bar and is over 18 can enter. We will be playing our games on the Ongame Network - it doesn't matter who you go by, each affialiate has it's own pros and cons with regards to bonuses and ease of depositing and withdrawal of cash. We recommend you scan through them and pick one you're happy with. Crucially, they all use the same software, and are on the same network.

You can register right now! If you've never played before, the first figure is the stake and the second figure is what the room takes for rake for hosting the tournament. You should find us under the Tournaments > Private tab. Scroll down to BrigBother's Tourney.

League Structure

The top three in the league at the end of the year win bonuses of £60, £30 and £20. We are assuming you're familiar with no limit tournaments, but if you need to know the basics then BWin do a poker school with details on how they work.

We predict enough people will turn up to each event that the Top 3 will pay out in the traditional 50%/30%/20% structure, although this depends on how many people turn up. All games are played with starting stacks of 1,500 and 12 minute blinds, we estimate games to last between 90 and 180 minutes. There should be a break each hour. Chat is positively encouraged, and I'm reserving the right to change the rules and bonus payouts at any time although I can't see any reason why I would need to. Players outside the UK can enter, but they will need PayPal to be able to accept any bonus they may win, as the prize will be in Sterling.

If 2009 is a success I might consider mixing it up a little next year. Good luck at the tables!
