“He doesn’t know anything, he’s not even a REAL fox,” is a quote I have just made up (actually I made it up years ago but that’s by the by), although by calling That Sounds Good To Me<\/em> “average” that is vastly overstating the quality of the song reperesenting the UK this evening.<\/p>\n

“It’s become waylaid by people trying to be serious artists. Hang on a minute, we’re here to party! This isn’t showbusiness, it’s a song contest.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

That is true! And it just so happens several other countries have written songs you’d much rather hear at a party.<\/p>\n

I’m pulling for Germany this evening, because I stand to win \u00a340 in the work sweepstake if Lena’s Satellite<\/em> wins, which as it’s a brilliant slice of Ellis-Bextor-esque pop it just might, provided POLITICAL VOTING doesn’t rear it’s ugly head. Although she does have quite an odd way of pronouncing words.<\/p>\n
