And yet if it was on prime-time\u00a0ITV, he&#8217;d be absolutely perfect:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-171   aligncenter\" title=\"Tim-Vine\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bothersbar.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/Tim-Vine-207x300.gif\" alt=\"Tim-Vine\" width=\"207\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Think about it.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wouldn&#8217;t take the show too seriously &#8211; a bit like Richard O&#8217; Brien.<\/li>\n<li>Would be able to make funny asides to camera when the action is a bit slow &#8211; a bit like Richard O&#8217; Brien.<\/li>\n<li>Can play a musical instrument &#8211; a bit like Richard O&#8217; Brien.<\/li>\n<li><em>Not Going Out<\/em> suggests he can play with a bit of edge when needed &#8211; a bit like Richard O&#8217; Brien.<\/li>\n<li>Is much funnier than Russell Brand &#8211; a bit like Richard O&#8217; Brien. He&#8217;d be fun for all the family.<\/li>\n<li>He&#8217;s young enough to run around a bit &#8211; a bit like Ed Tudor Pole.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>See? It&#8217;s a perfect fit.<\/p>\n<p>When we were discussing Fantasy <strong>Fort Boyard<\/strong> hosts last year, Sphil came up with Tim Vine which I thought wouldn&#8217;t work because he&#8217;d lack the\u00a0charming bastardness\u00a0the Master of the Fort role really requires &#8211; it wouldn&#8217;t be believeable with his background. But as Time Travelling Tour Guide?
