They are however Very Much The Sort Of Thing We&#8217;re Interested In:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Drop Zone<\/strong> appears to be\u00a0the BBC&#8217;s\u00a0ill-fated answer to <strong>The Amazing Race<\/strong>, eight teams of three are dropped off in various locales around the globe by Steve Jones and charged with doing tasks in order to race to the helicopter and the next destination the next week. The last team back\u00a0get stranded, if the hyperbole is anything to go by. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/programmes\/b00v71wq\">The official site is here.<\/a>\u00a0I think this was pitched for BBC3 originally, so I can&#8217;t decide whether being thrown out on Sunday afternoons at 3:35pm on BBC1 is a promotion or demotion of sorts. <strong>Edit: <\/strong>My bad, it was always for BBC1.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mission Millenium<\/strong> is France 3&#8217;s non-hit replacement for <strong>La Carte aux Tresors. <\/strong>I had been to the website, although I&#8217;m not entirely sure what&#8217;s going on and don&#8217;t want to delve too deep for spoilers, although they do appear to be searching for The Mask of Chaac. Anyway, TV5 are showing it on Monday at 1:04pm, with a repeat on Tuesday evening at 10:53pm. Don&#8217;t be late. The series is six episodes long and two hours each &#8211; it sounds a bit like <strong>Treasure Hunters<\/strong>\/<strong>The Search<\/strong> (Jamie Theakston&#8217;s finest hour) from the TV5 description, although it&#8217;s a shame the title is about ten years off fashion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Right, I had no idea these were on until Iain Weaver pointed them out in his latest TV Guide.
