The Futon Critic also suggests it <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thefutoncritic.com\/ratings\/2011\/01\/05\/tuesdays-broadcast-ratings-nbc-no-loser-against-cbss-live-to-dance-597000\/broadcast_20110104\/\">tied for eighth in the all-important 18-49 demos<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Obviously I derive no please from a show not doing very well (I think the show is neither particularly good or bad, the lack of surprise in having one couple for an entire show doesn&#8217;t help it), it&#8217;s only when we&#8217;re constantly bombarded with the idea that something is a MEGAHIT when the numbers don&#8217;t stack up is when it is funny.<\/p>\n<p>So with all this in mind &#8211; Endemol Joe, how about taking this to the next level? I&#8217;m happy to stake up to \u00a3250 of actual cash that <strong>The Voice<\/strong> will not be a phenomenon for NBC. We can use the ratings for its recent <strong>The Sing Off<\/strong> as a guide if you like.
