{"id":8573,"date":"2015-04-26T23:23:14","date_gmt":"2015-04-26T22:23:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bothersbar.co.uk\/?p=8573"},"modified":"2015-04-26T23:34:41","modified_gmt":"2015-04-26T22:34:41","slug":"the-vault","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bothersbar.co.uk\/?p=8573","title":{"rendered":"The Vault"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So here is something the celebrity David Bodycombe threw my way a few nights ago, a low-budget web thriller\u00a0called <strong>The Vault<\/strong>, based around a reality show with a similar aesthetic to second best film of all-time <em>Cube<\/em>\u00a0(*) and is sort of an extra-large version of that game from <strong>The Mole<\/strong> where people are locked in separate rooms and they have to solve puzzles inside the rooms to help their team-mates escape. <a href=\"http:\/\/thevaultshow.com\/\">Here&#8217;s the official site<\/a>, it started in 2011 and seemed to finish sometime last year. It&#8217;s not gory or anything, or at least not as far as I&#8217;ve got.<\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/SJ8XGe1s42E?list=PL9B3913D8761A93AA\" width=\"480\" height=\"270\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/center>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For me (I&#8217;m about halfway through) a bit ponderous, although each ten-minute episode finishes with a nice cliffhanger which has kept me watching thus far &#8211; I was going to stop a few episodes ago for the night but have kept watching, so it&#8217;s certainly doing something right.<\/p>\n<p>IN OTHER NEWS, we always say that until the BBC decides to send a song the public will buy then we&#8217;re just wasting our time at Eurovision. But lo and behold, what has topped the physical sales charts this week?<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" lang=\"en\"><p>Electro Velvet No.1 on the Official Physical Sales Chart <a href=\"http:\/\/t.co\/QbtVn445D8\">pic.twitter.com\/QbtVn445D8<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Danyal (@DanyalWho) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DanyalWho\/status\/592426095485526016\">April 26, 2015<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately it&#8217;s nowhere to be seen in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.officialcharts.com\/charts\/singles-chart\/\">official Top 100<\/a> made up of downloads, physical and streaming. I wonder how many it has sold physically.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, I was hoping to run another Mario Kart tournament this coming Saturday but I&#8217;ve been surprised with a family visit so I&#8217;m postponing it for a week to May 9th.
