Mel Giedroyc is hosting.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Hosted\u00a0live from\u00a0The\u00a0O2\u00a0Forum Kentish Town\u00a0by\u00a0self-confessed Eurovision fan\u00a0Mel\u00a0Giedroyc, the\u00a090 minute\u00a0UK Eurovision extravaganza\u00a0will feature performances by the six competing\u00a0acts, as well as special\u00a0musical\u00a0guests\u00a0and a look\u00a0at what makes a memorable Eurovision winner.<\/p>\n<p>The BBC\u00a0recognises that the fan community is a very important element of the Eurovision Song Contest, therefore\u00a0invited the UK branch of the OGAE to assist in the shortlisting of the\u00a0entries sent in by the public.\u00a0The OGAE is the largest independent Eurovision fan club in the world and its UK branch has around 1,000 members.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>i.e. don&#8217;t blame us if it goes wrong, blame the fans.<\/p>\n<p>Interested to see who will get to host the semi-finals in May now they&#8217;re on BBC Four and not youth-oriented BBC Three &#8211; Giedroyc?
