Perhaps have Dermot on as the Star in a Rallycross Car. The numbers would go through the roof!<\/p>\n<p>A-ha-ha. Seriously though I wonder when they will go out? Perhaps they will save it as a &#8216;spoiler&#8217; for <strong>The Voice<\/strong> on ITV next year, which is funny because cars have spoilers.<\/p>\n<p>And whilst we&#8217;re on the subject of Saturday night next-big-things it was interesting to note that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bothersbar.co.uk\/?p=9217\"><strong>Can&#8217;t Touch This<\/strong><\/a>, sent to the half-five slot where flops go to die, outrated the young and hip <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bothersbar.co.uk\/?p=9264\"><strong>Bang on the Money<\/strong><\/a> in primetime (1.4m vs 1.2m all-in). <em>Can&#8217;t Touch This<\/em> has proven surprisingly resilient in the slot where other shows like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bothersbar.co.uk\/?p=3531\"><strong>Don&#8217;t Scare the Hare<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bothersbar.co.uk\/?p=7628\"><strong>That Puppet Game Show<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0have found themselves well under a million. Probably not worth recommissioning mind, but if the BBC found themselves <em>really<\/em> stuck&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><em>Bang on the Money<\/em> is flawed as a bit of Saturday evening entertainment but it probably doesn&#8217;t deserve to go <em>that<\/em> low.<\/p>\n<p>Edit: As I&#8217;ve linked to everything else, here&#8217;s the show discussion post for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bothersbar.co.uk\/?p=9119\"><strong>The Getaway Car<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As the nation is gripped by the new ideologically pure Top Gear, it&#8217;s time to ask the important question.
