Willing to do a runthrough for a new quiz in front of execs?
Producer Tom Hopgood is looking for 15 people for a runthrough in Central London on Friday morning. If you’re interested, mail him. Edit: Expenses covered if within the M25.
Hey everyone it’s another EXCITING episode of Fifty 50, this week it’s a TALENT SHOW SPECIAL featuring David Howell talking to Lewis Murphy. Also features another exciting game of 21 Questions Wrong, enjoy it before they start doing it officially on telly hosted by someone from Made in Chelsea, inevitably.
So new Catchphrase. It’s OK! It’s like someone’s done a tracing of the original but with thick marker pen, so it’s lost some of the definition but is still basically Catchphrase.
Hey, why not “join the discussion” as they’d say on BBC News 24 or something, we’re having a chat about it here.
One thing that strikes me as being slightly odd about the show is its fascination of mazes in it’s opening title sequences despite the show having nothing to do with them, the original of which still is the best:
Unfortunately I’m working this weekend, but NEXT weekend I intend to do a feature on Cash Crash which has been picked up for a series following a successful pilot on RTL earlier in the year. It’s also being shopped around as a multi-team format Don’t Drop the Money, but I’ve seen bits of it and it’s poor in comparison.
Meanwhile new sitcom The Security Men got five million last night, the campaign for series two of Cannon and Ball’s Casino starts now.
Meanwhile apparently Channel 4 have bought up Draw Something! Ahead of the game as always that Channel 4. Expect it to be very popular for about a week then everyone to get bored of it when it gets resold to ITV1. Edit:It’s being called Draw It! which is shrewd at least.
8 episodes for GSN. The suggestion is Mark Labbett of commenting-during-our-Schlag Den Raab-broadcasts fame will be the Chaser. Really pleased for everyone involved.
ALSO: The new Fifty 50 Show is out. Lewis Murphy chats to Tom Scott and David Howell about 5 Minutes to a Fortune‘s first episode and game show jobs. Amazing.
