For some reason I found myself pondering Combat with Emlyn Hughes this morning. But there’s seemingly no footage of that on Youtube so here’s the next best thing, an episode of One Man Army with Myke Hawke which was on US Discovery almost a decade ago and I thought was quite good, but that has seemingly been lost to the mists of time.
Stick it in your diaries

Join the Polls Panel on Youtube as we discuss how you, a mixture of fans and industry people, have voted in TV’s (and radio’s) MOST IMPORTANT awards. Will you agree or disagree with the results? Well obviously you should agree, you voted for them.
Wonderwall Wednesday
If you’re bored tomorrow night, Friend of the Bar and sometime Game Night audience member Ashley Muncaster (aka Ash the Bash) will be playing his own Twitch-chat interactivity enabled version of the Wonderwall from Winning Lines. That’s Wednesday 8pm on Twitch, do have a look. Unfortunately I can’t make it, but we’re very much hoping to do a Bother’s Bar Plays Badly of it in the near future.
Here’s a sneak peek:
Animal Adventure Hour
Clearly, the next big thing is animal escape rooms.
As someone who used to love those old documentaries like Bird Brain of Britain and things with squirrel assault courses I find this sort of fascinating. Even if the puzzles are not what you’d call difficult.
This came up on Twitter the other day:
Incredible. If ethically questionable.
And don’t forget we’re currently watching The Mole.

TV’s Alex Macmillan has set up a Fantasy Video Games Draft League Thing for BB punters, basically you pick games and hope they get good Metacritics. I’m not sure how you join the league, and Alex is in charge of it and will determine when the draft is and whatever, but I will be playing.
It’s a public league but I’m not sure how you join it, I got an invite. You can view it here.
Your time’s up.
Thanks for all your Poll of the Year 2018 votes! I will be totting them all up and and writing it all up across the next week (basically I wasn’t working this weekend, now I am) and we hope to bring you the results in about a week-and-a-half’s time.
