Want to watch the Bother’s Bar Game Night Arbitrary Finals without the two hours of Jackbox build up? Well now you can! From Tipping Point to Strike It Briggy, the first nine (as there wasn’t one in episode one) have all been collected in one amazing video. Watch as the technology sometimes fails! Look at how much fun you can have with microphones and Powerpoint! Incredible stuff.
Bother’s Bar Game Night X: Strike It Briggy #BBGNX
Saturday 16th June,
9pm UK – Around 11:30pm,
Here and on Youtube
#BBGNX
We’re back! It’s been six months since the last one and I’ve got a couple of new tricks up my sleeve. Join me and my seven panellists as we play the best of the Jackbox suite of games LIVE as someone hopes to strike it Briggy and end up the champion of the night, winning a guaranteed invite to the Bother’s Bar Jackbox 5 launch Game Night.
As usual Team Audience are there to ruin everything and win the night for themselves as everyone clocks up points to earn the advantage in the Strike it Briggy Arbitrary Final. Who’ll end up top, who’ll end up middle and who’ll end up bottom? “How is a Hot Spot not DEFINED?”
The latency is only a few seconds watching on a computer, bear in mind prompts will come up on your phone a few seconds before they come up on screen. If you’re watching on a Youtube app the delay might be a little bit longer. Nothing here is quickfire so don’t panic, join in as you can.
Stool Pigeon: The Results
Well we got SIX bits of information, the veracity of which we can’t prove, the only people who know the truth are the stool pigeons themselves.
So see what you make of these:
- During Hive Minds test recordings, the software broke down because I got frustrated about not being able to find any answers and decided to just enter the whole grid as one word. Fiona Bruce was mildly amused.
- When I was on Countdown, Dictionary Corner guest Gloria Hunniford came up to me outside my dressing room and asked me if I like having my nipples pulled during sex.
- CJ de Mooi will be making his TV comeback as a boffin on the upcoming Game of Your Life.
- I have nothing to contribute but I would love to know what has happened to all of the 15 to 1 episodes recorded late last year!
- The thing Endemol are filming right now is something where the contestant is in the middle of a large, virtual reality spinning wheel.
- “I miss call and response catchphrases. They should bring them back.” You do make the rules!
Plenty to chew on there. The Endemol thing, The Moneydrome, does sound a bit like Beat the Wheel that’s been going about, but I still can’t help but feel if it was that the promo would mention Endemol somewhere. Meanwhile it sounds like Game of Your Life might be quite a bit quizzier than expected if the rumour turns out to be true. No idea about 15 to 1.
Quite fun, we’ll probably do this again sometime.
Stool Pigeon, ha cha cha cha
We haven’t done this for years but I’m both a) busy and b) bored. What’s some hot gameshow gossip you don’t want your name attached to? Just be aware you aren’t *quite* anonymous so try not to be libellous. We’ll print the best ones later, if we get any.
This is now closed.
