Britain’s Got Talent…

…is back Saturday 17th at 8pm for 90 minutes.

I thought that would mean The Whole 19 Yards will be going out at 7pm, then. But hold! Not so, the ITV schedule currently has the best of Harry Hill’s TV Burp on at seven, with “No information avaliable” between 8pm and 10:30pm. Would 9:30pm be a bit late for the family fun of TW19Y? There is also a space between 5:15pm and 6pm that remains unfilled. But that feels a bit early. And it would hilariously be up against Total Wipeout. Hmm.

Divided’s back Tuesday

At 5pm on ITV1. I forgot to add this to the Board of Excitement, which suggests I’m not all that excited about it to be honest. Still, I’d be interested to see if they’ve made any changes from last year’s series.

Board of Excitement 4th-10th April

Right, I have just crashed out on the bubble AGAIN in a poker tournament, so before I make myself feel better by watching people be absolutely miserable on The Door (actually, hang on), let’s take a look at the forthcoming week’s excitement:

  • The Amazing Race (Sunday, CBS)
  • Only Connect (8:30, Monday, BBC4): Second semi-final this week, Tommy Scott’s Hitchhikers who will probably win against The Strategists.
  • Survivor (Thursday, CBS): Well this week’s was a shocker and no mistake. And now the villains are imploding! WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN?
  • Partly New Total Wipeout (5:15pm, Saturday, BBC1): Because I forgot to bill it last week. Last week’s left me feeling pretty “meh”.
  • Doctor Who (6:15pm, Saturday, BBC1): Hadn’t watched this for a while, quite enjoyed the series opener. Also I really liked that Manic Miner thing he did. (*)
  • Schlag Den Raab (7:15pm UK time, Saturday, Pro Sieben or naughty internet streaming if we’re very lucky): Crikey, there will be no time to have your dinner next Saturday. €2m up for grabs this month, and it will all boil down to a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors, I imagine.
  • Bother’s Series of Poker Game 5 (8pm, Next Sunday, the internet). Come along and watch me finish on the bubble. AGAIN. Don’t forget that there are BotherSOP games this month on runner runner Sundays, which is kind of a clever poker joke.

(*) Nobody on the internet has made this reference yet.
