To celebrate the show’s tenth birthday on October 31st September 18th TVs very own Noel Edmonds will be playing the game of Deal or No Deal with Sarah Millican hosting. Noel’s only there once so I imagine he’ll be brave enough to go right through to the end and win £250,000, etc.
18th September is a Friday so presumably this will be a primetime special. However there are four episodes of 15 to 1 to play out week beginning Monday 14th (Wed 9th is ep 36 and there’s racing the rest of the week, the series is 40 eps long as far as I know) so they might throw it out in the afternoon, although that’d be pretty unusual. I would presume the series starts “proper” w/b 21st, although no guarantees.
Edit: Buzzerblog suggesting DS suggests it’s going out at 8pm, but I can’t find the story to link to. So.
Edit edit: Here you are.
Fantastic show , I was at the recording for the show and many others. Wonder why C4 are not showing the special on the 31st as that would of been there proper 10th birthday!.
The return of the series should be starting i nmid-September.
Avanti Un Altro promo! I added subtitles 🙂

in other news, Chain Reaction is getting a primetime special
Awesome thanks. Do you know the start date and if any new characters have been revealed?
it should begin on Sept. 14th
Provisional schedules for the week of 21 September are out.
A couple of years ago, Lewis of The Fifty-50 Show had a theory that Countdown was heading to a lunchtime slot. It’s not happened, not just yet.
Deal or No Deal, that is going to lunchtimes. 1.10 in the provisional schedules. Countdown‘s still at 2.10, and a new series of Fifteen-to-One at 3pm. A Place In the Sun happens at 4pm, with Four in a Bed and Come Dine with Me in the 5pm hour.
Ouch for Deal, knew it was on the way out but didn’t think it would get moved that early.
OUCH !!!
Wonder if that is C4 saying its time to move on. I don’t think the ratings will be anything.
When I went to see it being filmed they had no air dates as C4 don’t know when there scedules are.
When is it oving to 110pm
I can’t see any evidence Deal or no Deal’s being aired between now and the 18th. Their schedules are nonexistent for the 21st but I did receive an eMail from them saying they had no plans to show episodes within the next couple of weeks. (If you must know, I was inquiring about their decision to broadcast series of Fifteen to One consecutively…)
I watched the show, the first time I had done so by choice for… months at least. (There was a lot of gimmicks that I wasn’t familiar with, but they made sense in context.) Sarah Millican definitely went easy on Noel, compared to some of the extents to which he has run contestants over the rigging in the past.
>run contestants over the rigging
talk like a pirate day?
930k for this last night.
Against 4.7m Eastenders and 7.5m World Cup – that’s not a surprise.
Does any body know the ratings for DOND since its moved to 1:10pm?
