BotherSOP Champion 2010 Andrew Smith sent in a cheesy photo posing with the prizes. To think! That could have been me.
The BotherSOP is likely to return in 2011, so if you thought it looked like fun, you’ve only got six months to wait until the next one.
In the meantime, there is a new Bother’s Bar competition coming soon.
Maybe it shrunk in the post! It’s a pretty nifty trophy really with the cards carved into the design and the central circle resembling a poker chip, a lot of thought has gone into it!
Wish I’d thought of the banknotes in the background idea…!
Still sad that my work schedule made it nigh impossible to join in. Who knows what next year will bring, but I’d love to participate!

Many thanks to the people who’ve taken the time to complete our game show survey. Since I’ve had no responses for a while I’m going to assume that most people who want to take part have already done so, and will start writing up the results this weekend.

Any thoughts on the prospect of a Bother’s Bar Boardgames Of Excitement league using BrettspielWelt? IIRC you were vaguely considering the idea when it came up.
Probably not, to be honest, or not right now at any rate – there’s a mini competition coming up, then it’s Fantasy X Factor taking up my time between now and the end of the year. You never know, though.
