Show discussion: Fort Boyard 2010 Episode 3

By | July 24, 2010

Well it would be nice if they eventually deign to put episode two up first – it looks like a cock-up on France 2’s part rather than anything properly sinister (although saying that, using exciting cloaking techniques I still can’t get it to load on Pluzz either), and it’s actually not the first time they’ve irritatingly not put the correct thing up, but seeing as episode two last week was the highest rated show in its timeslot maybe they’ll correct it and put more effort into the website this week. But probably not before Monday. Fingers crossed they’ll have episode three up on Monday as well (Episode two discussion should go here to avoid spoilerage).

Without spoiling the result, I’d just like to say I’m impressed that I don’t think they’ve repeated a duel yet (and it looks like there are several more yet played ones next week – so that’s at least 17), and also I like the fact that there are multiple routes out of the dungeons.

I wish they’d bring back the proper tunes for the adventures though. They would still work with people talking over them.

Another correction, the releasing the prisoner in the council is best of three rather than winning one of two. The holding the weight game this week is epic.

Agreed on the holding of the weight game, massively great. And that underwater puzzle game… impressive.

Is there talk of anymore characters appearing? Also… does it seem like there are too many “extra rules” to explain? ie. if teams don’t win duels, what happens? etc.

And now who will draw the numbers out of the tiger’s head???

Finally got to watching crossbow relay for once. I like. At least that bit doesn’t have cut-aways.

It’s surprisingly great isn’t it? Adventure Line/France 2 have generally seemed perfectly happy with people uploading clips and episodes to places, so fingers crossed it can continue.
