The Crystal Maze live experience thing tickets go on sale to the general public today

By | December 1, 2015

Here’s the official site. And you might want to keep your eye on their Twitter. People who backed it on IndieGoGo should have been able to pick dates yesterday.

It’s in a secret location in Kings Cross and the launch date is March 15th. You should be able to book for the first six months of opening in the first instance.

I’m going in April, I’m mainly hoping it doesn’t ruin my childhood.

Edit: Here’s the official SeeTickets link – fair to say it’s not cheap –  £60 (£50 off peak) for an individual ticket, £420/£500 for a full team of eight. The experience is set to last around 90 minutes.

Report in the Evening Standard suggests “between King’s Cross and Angel”, which probably is a steer away from Granary Place after all. Pity!

In another piece of The Crystal Maze-iana:

“Project2 curates Geekeasy; a comedy night for nerds. We populate the bill with emerging and award-winning acts. It is a variety show including stand-up, sketch, improvisation and competitive PowerPoint presentations. Geekeasy has a different theme every month and this month it’s The Crystal Maze!”

Five pounds a ticket. 8pm, The Miller Pub, Friday 18th December, 96 Snowsfields, SE1 3SS London.

It’s easy to be cynical but if you go through your life being cynical then you miss out on a lot of fun. Someone I know and whose taste I trust rates the monthly series highly.

Fox here in the US has picked up You’re Back In The Room for eight episodes for 2016…

I think it has potential to be quite a FOX show, I’m intrigued to see if they try and make it… bigger. I’m not sure it requires it but I’m sure they’ll try anyway.

Yes, I’m sure they’ll push it much further. One of the unsung hits of the year though and far more enjoyable than most weekend gameshows. I assume it has been recommissioned.
