Meanwhile German television sensation Wetten Dass? was on again last night and you can watch all the bets on the ZDF Mediathek. The highlights for me are “Gabelstapler” where two people armed only with a forklift truck attempt to flip coins onto one of the arms, then deposit them into a bottle, and the outstanding “Flaschen” where a blindfolded man attempts to determine exactly how much liquid is in Denzil Washington’s beer bottles simply by the tone created by popping his finger in and out of the top. Honestly, it’s incredible and quite rightly last night’s Wettkönig. Check it out.

Our chums at TV Cream are reporting that Bob’s Full House hasn’t done all that well in the ratings (I did wonder) and that Challenge currently have no plans to buy more series. They are moving it to Fridays from the 22nd March.

In other news, Challenge have bought the rights to series one and two of Bullseye going out on Thursdays, 10pm from February 14th. Quite interested to see these, clips of the first series suggest there’s a few odd things going on.

OK, I don’t normally do this kind of thing but I really enjoyed the first series so why not.  Our favourite Aussie sort-of Quiz and low-budget local cable sensation 31 Questions is using Indiegogo to get some funding to make series two even better than the first one, if you’ve got a spare couple of quid going in these harsh economic times there are worse things you could do than bung a little their way.
