I’ve only just got round to watching the enjoyably meta Christmas Day edition of Only Connect, a quiz special. Now we’re well into January, I think it’s sufficiently late to spoil that Victoria Coren Mitchell intervened with an impromptu round of Family Fortunes, after which she mused “Do we have to send somebody some money now?” I laughed like a drain and would have nominated this as one of the moments of the year had I seen it in time.
