Thank Fluke For That

Here’s some Monday fun, producer Richard Hearsey has uploaded the final episode of mid-nineties Tim Vine vehicle Fluke, where the points are pointless and skill and judgement don’t matter. It’s quite funny, but in retrospect one series was probably about right.

Of course they tried floating this in the US as Beat the Chimp…

In other news six episodes of The Chase family episodes will be going out on Saturday nights.

Joko and Klaas end their weekly late night show Circus Halligalli in June. They will stay with Prosieben, but if and how this will affect their Saturday night shows and their Quiz Poker has not been explicitly communicated yet.

recent BIG win on Italy’s BOOM!

    • Brig Bother says:

Ah, that’s a similar endgame to the Spanish. Is it a progressive jackpot?

      • CeleTheRef says:

Yes, it works pretty much like the Spanish edition.
Jackpot starts at 10K and grows by 5K every time it’s not won.

A €150,000 jackpot was won in October.

According to the network, the show is officially in its 4th season despite having been on the air for less than 6 months. °_°

Although it sounds a bit like a reality version The Main Event with Chris Tarrant from that.

Oh I love how the last contestants wants to high five the host but he’s going for a fist bump.
Has this been filmed in France? It seems so huge to build this set, but they ordered so many episodes I could hardly imagine them filming it in the US…

      • Setsunael says:

They’re currently taping (the promo has been made from extracts of an “zero” unaired episode taped one or two days ago) in the next few days. It seems to be filmed in France since no other european country made its own version of the huge wall (and since there’s rumors of a live primetime episode, that would make sense) but no audience calls have been posted yet so couldn’t be sure.
