Cannonball Run

Freddie Flintoff is fronting Cannonball for ITV, alongside Frankie Bridge, Radzi Chinyanganya, Ryan Hand and Maya Jama. It films in Malta.

We’ve said this before, we reckon the idea’s too light to take off and it’s not really been successful anywhere although if anyone’s likely to make a good go of it it’s Potato. Here’s the Dutch version:

In other news Jason Byrne to host Don’t Say It, Bring It for Dave, a format that’s been knocking around for donkey’s years. We’ve briefly been discussing it here.

Actually I’ve no idea why ITV have done a press release about it now, other places had reported exactly the same thing all the way back in April.

I’m guessing this will be on Saturday evenings after The Voice Kids ends.

“Each week 24 contestants will be split into groups of seven and attempt all four water based challenges that will test their speed, accuracy, height and distance.” – Either someone at ITV can’t do maths, or there’s a mistake.

24 would be an easier error to make, as it’s just one character. But we’ll soon find out when ITV get back to me.

RTL are currently airing ( Friday evening ) their version of ITV’s Keep It In The Family. It’s been extended to 2 hours and starts with three families playing. Apart from that it’s more or less exactly the same show, and has been quite fun so far!

Just had a look on Iplayer it seems letterbox is a version of hangman. They show a hint which is the category the word is in, then the contestats will have to guess the letters.

I’m not sure if they get a incorrect letter it will go back and forth until the letter is solved. Guess we find out soon

Glad to see there’s still some life out there for the 30 minute gameshow! I much prefer this to the ’30 mins dragged out to and hour’ formats!
