Thanks to Twitter for pointing out that Gordon Ramsay’s B/£\NK B/\LΔNCE is looking for contestants.

Whilst we’re here, what the hell has happened in The Netherlands? Why does Avro Tros now look like a rubbish cable music channel of the early 2010s?

In other news, Michael Mcintyre’s The Wheel films in Bovingdon Airfield (Hertfordshire) in October, tickets from Lost in TV.

    I bring some exciting news!

The Cube app has randomly been updated in anticipation of The MILLION POUND Cube and it reveals the new money ladder…

    £2,000
    £5,000
    £10,000
    £25,000
    £100,000
    £250,000
    £1,000,000

Bafflingly generous (100K for game 5? whew!), yet incredibly hard on the eye.

250K to 1M is just the wrong side of gambleworthy, I think they shall find, unless there’s a two-rung safety net coming up behind them we haven’t been told about.

Still think that just increasing the final prize would have sufficed. Going for it has got to be the default position.

I can *sort of* understand what they’ve done – Two people teaming up, basically twice the money, but it does feel like they’re either chucking money at it or it’s going to be so hard nobody gets past game 4.

For me it feels like what they’re going for is a bunch of games that hinge on the £100k decision, and I think there will be enough agonising over that – and enough play-on decisions – to produce some really exciting TV. I’m willing to say right now that the £250k game, let alone the £1m one, will go unplayed for as long as this prize tree is used.

TBF, I missed the jump from £25k to £100k so you may be right.

I still think glass ceilings will end up being very annoying quite quickly.

In other news, just saw an ad for a new ITV show called Don’t Rock The Boat where 12 celebs go sailing. Freddie Flintoff and somebody else hosts (didn’t catch her. Probably Julia Bradbury).
