Amazing

By | June 23, 2011

Hey! Do you remember when I said Friend Of The Bar Tom Scott was quite good and should be on telly? Well it’s actually happening! He’s going to be one of Sky One’s Gadget Geeks, a show where people ask them to create something ridiculous and outlandish, and then they make it. I think it might be big, and that’s great because then I can sell my episode of Tom on Treasure Hunt to Before They Were Famous with Angus Deayton and become rich, RICH beyond my wildest dreams of avarice. His website’s got loads of fun things on it.

In other news, I’m hearing through Twitter the host (one of the hosts?) of Kiddy Boyard is… Laura Hamilton from Dancing on Ice. I am unfamiliar with her work, to be honest.

I don’t think it’s that silly really, a lot of the bio seems to come from your website itself, and you do already have almost 7,000 followers on Twitter.

I expect that number to go up when you start appearing on Celebrity Juice.

Looking at the her showreal Laura Hamilton seems a good choice

I’ve got a feeling they well be going for a Boyard type co-presenter as as well.

But that might not work as well if it is a UK vs US type thing.

Im guessing there going for something on the lines of bulgaria boyard or norway where they will have a host for each team who like keeps the atmoshphere going. Something which the 2010 french series lacks. Im guessing each episode will be a hour long but there only getting 6 days to film 20 episodes. (whereas norway gets 12 days for 20 epsiodes).

Speaking on behalf of the french series, its looking very promising. With the extension in the time for clue games from 20 mins to 25 its going to be intresting to see whats gonna happen.

How long are the Norway episodes?

The french series looks absolutely brilliant! I agree!

They are a hour long. 2 teams 3 key games each. Then a clue game each as well as a duel every so often. Works really well to be fair

*scratches head* For some reason I thought this wasn’t news, or at least I kind of assumed it to be true simply because the site on which you had to leave your suggestions for things to do looked very, very much like a Tom Scott one.

Fingers crossed that you (Tom and team) pick my suggestion! It was very, very silly and hopefully quite televisual. Then again, I’m sure that so was everybody else’s.

Curious to know who the other GG are, if it can be revealed…

It’s been known about for a while, but today is the OFFICIAL announcement, by the sounds of it.

The others are Charles Yarnold and Colin Furze, I gather.

Yep, today’s the day that Sky let the cat out of the bag and officially Confirmed Everything.

I’m one of many people working out which ideas get chosen – indeed, I’m only one of seven presenters. My job at the moment, aside from building things, is mainly to say “we can do that” or “that violates the laws of physics”.

Good luck with it, though 🙂

it’s official, Affari Tuoi will NOT air next season, replaced by Soliti Ignoti

meanwhile at Canale5, there’s a rumor that Bonolis’ new game didn’t satisfy the network and he basically said “fine, I quit!”
