Sega Genesis Evangelion

Yo dudes. I know Bother’s Bar has been a bit Fort Boyard-centric lately but that’s mainly because there’s nothing else exciting on (except maybe Noel crossdressing (“Wah they’re trying to be entertaining and fun again please make them stop” – the Internet) and Pointless) and it’s basically my favourite topic so basically SUCK IT UP, BITCHES. Don’t worry, Take the Money and Run starts next week. And I’m giving money away. What more is it you want? Blood?

Anyway what you probably want to know is: if Fort Boyard was a Mega Drive game from 1991 what would it sound like? Happily Alex Richards holds the answer.

I normally prefer the good old SID chip on the c64 for this sort of thing, but… Awesome.

Agreed, there’s just something special about the ‘voice’ of the SID chip isn’t there? But yes, nice one Alex.

Does anybody know anything about the new dating gameshow from Princess Productions? A mate of mine has applied and has tasked me with finding out about the show.

It’s for Sky1 – they seem to be loving dating at the moment as Tiger Aspect is producing one too. From what I gather singles will have to decide if they like the other person based on first impressions, and matched couples will go on a holiday for their first date. That’s all I’ve found out -update us with how your friend gets on!

Will do, they found him through a Tv extras firm he is signed up with, while he is not really looking for love thought this could be a laugh.

      Thanks for the link.

Oof, way to butcher the theme tune.

          More Things:

          – it’s much faster than ours. But doubtless it’s less funny.

          – There’s no red line.

          – Teams can confer in the quiz round and there’s only one pass. CONTROVERSIAL.

The Pointless Final bed plays throughout the entire show so every twenty seconds or so you get that burst of bontempi. Highly irritating.

Wow… Their column makes no sense. What’s the point of just having it change colors randomly?

Eye-searing yellow is a staple in all French game show sets.

Strange how all the changes they’ve made are for the worse. Chopping it down to 3 couples might have been a smart move.
