Be on a show (runthrough)

By | May 17, 2012

I’ve had an e-mail:

Whizz Kid are in need of 3 pairs of fun folk to stand in as contestants for a game show run through on Wed the 23rd May. If you are outgoing, have a good sense of fun and fancy a bash please contact me on abbi.shouler@whizzkid.tv asap.

Thanks

Abbi

So there we are. No idea what it’s for.

In other news it sound like Fort Boyard‘s Olivier Minne will be fronting a French version of Wild Rover’s Take the Money and Run on a French satellite channel next month. So that’s exciting isn’t it?

I actually feel for him a little bit, because when I saw the puzzle the first thing I thought was “Magic Land?” which I don’t think is even a thing.

      Awww, what a shame 🙁

One of the best shows America has seen in a while and they shelve it?

To be honest, with the crap ABC were doing with it scheduling-wise, it’s a miracle it even MADE it onscreen.

Shame it’s only one series, but ABC just weren’t going to let it last.

And you’re suggesting an hour long, this suggests to me it’s going to be a UK only production. But I don’t *know*.

I think that’s a good spot actually. Anyway, apparently the press release comes out today.

Im not suggesting. Laura said it was gonna be a hour long with ads. I think they will keep it a joint production because of it being able to be sent out globally. Im suprised there no mention of contestant sign ups as there is only a few weeks left till filming.

Maybe they’ll get in touch with people who weren’t picked last year. Or maybe they’ve done a school tour?

I listened to all seven minutes of it. There was a bit that sounded vaguely like it four minutes in (as much as four rising notes can) otherwise I’m not sure.

Yeah, I put that time tag bit at 4:11 (the t=251 bit at the end). I take it it didn’t work?

What is the point of the clock on Millionaire if they’re blatantly going to totally ignore it every time!

I need to watch again, but I’m pretty sure Eamonn did not clearly give his final answer within the time! And don’t both the pair need to agree anyway?!

As previously noted on here, the current production is not exactly razor-sharp.
