Don’t Blow the Inheritance

By | June 14, 2012

In more @tvscoops news, 12 Yard working on a show called Don’t Blow the Inheritance for ITV. Sounds like The Generation Game for high stakes quizzes – older generation build up a bank, younger team member has to win it. Let’s hope it does a bit better than Holding Out For a Hero.

Meanwhile here is a photo for The All New Skill Based Red or Black. I can’t quite picture how it’s going to look on television, although it looks like half will be voting for red and half black again. If you’ve been, feel free to tell us how it works (use a pseudonym if you like) – I’m not interested in the results.

  1. Score

Havent been to Red or Black so don’t know how it works but ITV Media says the running times have been changed to 2 x 45 minute shows per night (last year it was a 60/75 minute show followed by a 30 minute show later) so the structure of the show appears to have been changed.

I assume they’ll wrap it around X Factor auditions later in the year, so a 45 minute earlier show is short enough for its average rating to be dragged up by people tuning in early for XF whilst extending the later show gives it more of an opportunity to benefit from the lead-in as those extra viewers will be watching for longer.

I suspect we’ll be looking at.

      7.15pm – Red or Black
      8.00pm – The X Factor
9.15pm – Red or Black: The Vortex
