Runthrough

By | January 31, 2013

Free next Thursday? TV’s Paul Brassey is after people for a quiz runthrough in London. Reasonable expenses covered. If you’re interested, @ him on Twitter. People at the runthrough last week need not apply.

In other news, you can apply for the next series of The Cube by e-mailing thecube7@objectiveproductions.com. So it’s getting another series then, presumably.

I was tweeting it live this time last week. What you didn’t see in the YouTube clip was the previous box being Pacco Matto. Those who follow the show know Pacco Matto can result in anything. Top value being doubled, have to leave the game etc… Luckily for her she chose the ‘forced swap’ scroll.

Regarding The Cube. They recorded two series last year. Something like 15 shows across two series. So this next batch of recordings is on top of the ones we’ve yet to see.

So that (or will) make three as yet unaired series.

Can’t help thinking with that lot sitting on the shelves, if after the end of recording this series, the cube will be packed up, and put back into storage next to the 19 Keys cube for good?

They recorded series five and six in January and February 2012. We already had series five in 2012, the one with Mo Farah and that lasted nine shows. I guess series six will be six shows on top of the seventh series where they’re looking for contestants.

Wouldn’t be surprised if we get series six in the spring and series seven in the autumn with possibly pairing with The X Factor. Given it’s safe to say both Fool Britannia and Red or Black will not return.
