It’s quiet so because we don’t really have much to say about Davina’s Celebrity Ski Jumping (it will probably not do very well if they stretch it out, I don’t know why it’s called The Jump despite apparently featuring lots of winter sports, we still love Davina though) here’s a trailer for Bother’s Bar favourite The Genius series two starting in a few weeks. However, it has recently been added to Unicode, along with “flicking the Vs” and not in the Churchillian sense, the Spock hand symbol and “man in business suit levitating”. This article will doubtless inspire many a Question Too Obscure For Only Connect and oft.
Unrelatedly: I am aware of such things as Countdown tournaments among the fandom, and I am aware of the popularity of the Only Connect Questions group on Facebook. Do you think there would be the demand for an in-person Only Connect tournament some day? No clue how it would work, but…
