Good luck to the crew of new Endemol BBC2 afternoon quiz Two Tribes, filming over the next fortnight. If it’s good it’ll probably be because of Richard Osman, if it’s rubbish probably because of the internet’s Dan Peake.
We’ll probably have a recording report or two sometime over the next fortnight, otherwise if you’re in the Hammersmith area, or don’t mind travelling to the Hammersmith area, it looks like SRO still have plenty of tickets available.

From the first Lottery show of July, After 8 years, Endemol will have no involvement in the lotto show – they lost the production rights to produce/televise the lottery draws today.
Princess Productions will take over the contact to point cameras at a load of balls in a washing machine drum for the next two and a half years.
I assume the existing wraparound rota of quiz/game shows remain unchanged for the time being.
Oh wow that is interesting actually, it was only six months ago it got a new look.

In other ratings news, the BARB weekly top tens now include data from such channels as BBC RB FREEVIEW 301 and BBC Red Button 6880. The former is dominated this week by PG ETV1 PIGGY and the latter by such shows as PG DIAMOND LEAGUE – CHECK SOURCE (SAT 2059) and the all-time classic PG SPRINGWATCH – !!! NOT ROUTED YET !!! (MON 1459).
That sounds like it ought to be a spin off show.
Actually, I’m surprised at the relatively poor showing of Only Connect. The last few weeks have been at 600 – 650,000, when it was at 700-800,000 in comparable weeks last year.
The average for series 9 so far is over 20,000 higher than the nearest equivalent, series 7 which was also Spring-Summer. But, yes, the last two shows have been lowballing.
But how does the share compare? I’m constantly being told that’s important.

If you were there during the evening session then yes. Trying to remember if there was a Thomas or not. However, if you have something to say probably best to use a pseudonym if you aren’t already.

Despite having a bit of a mare, I had a good time on the show but that doesn’t necessarily mean it IS a good show.
