It is past midnight. I have to be up early in the morning. But rather than sleep, I find myself punching the air and whooping while watching a German TV show.
Perhaps I should re-examine my life.

She’s ahead! Who could have predicted?
It’s a clever design. I do like the way that you have to throw the tennis balls less far the worse you’re doing on any particular point, which surely increases the chance of hitting. However, the fact that Manuela managed to get a point with a single hit, earlier on, suggests to me that the game might be even better still if the field was, say, 10% longer. It’s not a very two-dimensional game, either, is it?
So, four games left. Am I right in thinking both of them need three out of the next four? Manuela could win with the last two?
Spiel 12 – Aufrollen (Roll up)
Looks like it involves using those contraptions to get their car across the line first

Oh THIS IS HILARIOUS! Raab looks like a crab! This is a tough challenge too – Manuela going for smaller and steadier motions… but Raab’s in the lead…
Man, Raab has a rhythm.
Stefan gets a massive early lead using a long twist method, rather than Manuela’s many short twists.
That was quick! That was more of a game 1 or game 2 length of game!
And Stefan wins comfortably

Sounds like that got tiring near the end.
Effectively it’s best of three now.
It does seem odd than the billiards game was a long one but the last 2 for more points have been shorter ones
There’s never really been any correlation between length of game and points value though.

I don’t know why they don’t extent the animation a bit but use slightly easier faces, to make it a bit more teasing rather than know it/don’t know it.
Well, it’s looking good for Stefan… I still reckon he’ll win. Glad to see it go the distance though!

Well they’ve finally caught on. Tch, it’s like they’ve never played Jenga.
Depends. Some of the middle ones will be slightly larger than the outer ones, in which case you should avoid them.
They gt two minutes to make a move.
Incidentally, Jenga is immeasurably improved by using a chess clock. Two minutes total, you lose if you run out of time or knock over the tower. It becomes a much better game.
Yep, that’s what they did with Wonga on the Big Breakfast, albeit seven minutes IIRC.
I like this. Totally getting hold of chess clocks next time I play.
That’s how Wonga worked. Each player had 8 minutes. First to make the tower fall or ran out of time lost.
Makes you think, how many trees died to make all those blocks?
Is there any reason why the top blocks are red?
Presumably one of them falling means game over.
I’d have thought ANY block falling would be game over, I had assumed that they were red to signify they could not be removed.
I thought I heard “best of three” in the rules, but I really must be mistaken.
