We want to do a feature next week on the lost art of hosts doing a promo shot holding a card with the logo of the show on it. Do YOU have a favourite and is it online? If so, use this handy form to point us in the direction of where to find it. You’ll note as an example I’ve used Paul Daniels’ Every Second Counts promo shot as the king of this particular promotional genre. Note that you can point us in the direction of people holding tablets with the show logo on, but this will always be seen as the inferior choice.

Some more French news – it’s (already) dead, Jim for Tout Peut Arriver (Saturday Night Takeaway), ep. 2 got 1.8m viewers/7% share. There’s rumors saying the third and final episode will not air due to these quite bad ratings.
Also France 2 still struggling whith its 6pm slot launched Joker, adaptation of a Turkish quiz which is basically single-player WWTBAM Hot Seat whih more questions than steps in the money tree and going down steps in the prize breakdown on a wrong answer. (The turkish pilot is viewable here :
) It’s doing slighty better than Pyramide in the same slot, but still not stellar.
I don’t get the point of doing Joker at all, it feels so derivative there’s no reason why anyone who got bored of Millionaire would tune in to it.
