ProSieben or naughty internet streaming

We reckon this may well be the PENULTIMATE EVER Schlag den Raab. Just one final episode to go after this, probably clashing with the Strictly Come Dancing final. Join us for another evening of fun, games, and rule-lawyering as a member of the public takes on German übermensch Stefan Raab across 14 mystery events (and Blamerien oder Kasserien) in a bid to win €1m. This episode’s musical guests are Justin Bieber, Lena and Louane! I know! THE Louane!

And again Bother’s Bar will be providing a live English commentary service throughout the evening, and during the boring bits there will probably be quizzes by TV legends David Bodycombe and Daniel Peake.

We’re likely to be around for five or six hours so do listen in and tweet us. YOU’LL MISS IT WHEN IT’S GONE. This episode’s commentary should be especially exciting as we’ll probably be using new Youtube Low Latency Technology, so hopefully it will be a bit better than previous as a commentary.

Here is the link to our live Youtube stream! This stream is commentary only. You will need to have a naughty stream running at the same time for the visuals. We are likely to be about 15-20 seconds behind the visual stream (and about a full minute behind if you’re watching an actual satellite feed), sorry.

This is the stream we will be watching.

Follow us on Twitter for immediate news if something goes wrong. Or because we’re fun guys!!!! @bothersbar@danielpeake@davidjbodycombe.

Tschüß!

Sorry guys, had to give up on watching SdR last night. For some reason, the SF app I use on my phone to watch the ProSieben stream just wouldn’t work. I ether got just a black screen, or I would get a pixellated mess with garbled sound as it constantly tried to catch up with itself. It was probably around Game 8 that I just gave up and out of those 8 rounds, I only managed to see 2, the Tennis and the Augen game. What a disappointment, and I was looking forward to watching SdR and listening to your commentary as well 🙁

A bit of chatting with my housemate and research led us to the answer to the odd question about penalty cards in football being introduced; it turns out that it’s actually referring to a ‘yellow-red’ card, which is the (specifically German?) term for being given a second yellow card that in turn leads to a red card – and that *was* introduced in 1991.

Prior to that, the second yellow card infraction would just mean showing the red card, not a second yellow first.

At least, if I’m trusting Google translate on German wikipedia!

You are absolutely right, didn’t know you were dicussing this, but the question was for the “yellow-red” card you describe.
