Last night we found the intro to pan-Scandinavian version of Treasure Hunt Skattjakten on Youtube from 1983, the intro has an incredible synth-jazz-fusion theme tune, not unlike the sort of thing you could find on a Spectrum demo in the early to mid-80s (Edit: It’s from Jean-Michel Jarre’s 17 minute Magnetic Fields Part 1, which might explain it):
Also of interest, although slightly less interesting is the intro to Rätselflug, the German version, as it’s just the same theme as La Chasse Au Tresor:
Whilst we’re in Sweden, there’s loads of Fangrna pa Fortet up, including episodes from the very first series back in 1990:

If you ever wondered why the title translates to The Prisoners On The Fort, here’s your answer – contestants seem to sign a “guestbook” on their way in, the door is padlocked behind them and the big key necessary to leave is in one of the treasure boxes. Goodness knows what happens if they don’t get it, or whether it’s possible to not get it.
Anyway it looks like they dropped this aspect pretty quickly when the French game changed, but they’ve kept the title ever since.
According to Swedish Wiki the theme’s from Jean Michele-Jarre’s Magnetic Fields Part 1. The third section, I’m informed.
