Fifty Fifty 29

By | June 10, 2013

New episode of Fifty 50 Show is out where Lewis Murphy and Dave Mattingly have a chat about US shows and SABOTAGE.

Celebrity Lucky Star Tipping Point scored 3.2m (inc +1) last night which is about 20% off what Catchphrase was getting, BUT you could probably imaginarily add a couple of hundred thousand because it was shown post 10pm in Scotland (which had The Road to Independence emergency scheduled after a network power outage last week on at 7pm), and in all likelihood will probably grow in the coming weeks anyway.

AND FINALLY congratulations to Simon Fox who sealed the Mix It Up Real Good glass effect glass trophy last night. There are just two more weeks of the BSOP season left, a standard $5.50 game this Sunday, and the $20+2 SUPERSTACKED SUPERFINAL the following Sunday. You’re welcome to come and join either of those even if you’ve not played in the league before, there’s almost certainly going to be (low) three figures on the table for the taking for the Superfinal and that’s not including the $175 end-of-season bonus money. All the details here.

Edit: Pics of the new Big Brother house (via BB Spy). Looks terrific. Begins on Thursday night.

Actually it’s a “sneak preview” of The Winner is (they want to get the Voice audience)- the show proper doesn’t start for another few weeks.

You also may want to look for the trailer for the NBC show Siberia- concept is interesting I think (a reality show set in Russia goes horribly wrong)….

We also should be getting some stuff on BBUS this week (media day is today, but they don’t release the stuff for a few days).

    Rumors include:
-Since it’s 2 weeks longer, there are 18 HG’s; all newbies (to BB- but there might be some people from Survivor or TAR going in; since a former USBB champ is supposedly on Survivor next season, this makes a little sense)

-Jury will now be 9 instead of 7

-half the house is under 28, half over 35 (youngest is 18, oldest is 72)

-there will be a mother and son in the house, but the HG’s won’t know they’re related

-there will be a lesbian couple in the house

-not everyone might enter the house on night one- a few might go in after the first eviction

Hans Zimmer is being textually interviewed on Reddit at 7pm UK (2pm EDT) tomorrow, so be sure to get there and ask him lots of questions about Going For Gold.

Reddit’s IAmA has a very strong lineup tomorrow: Mick Foley at 5pm UK, Melinda Gates at 6pm UK and Hans Zimmer at 7pm UK…

Just to note that Tipping Point: Lucky Stars was up against the Canadian Grand Prix Live too although I’m not sure how much of an audience crossover there is there!

The Winner Is preview on NBC last night got a 1.9/6 (6.59m). Not too shabby, in line with the drama Revolution which preceded it in the post-Voice timeslot. Reaction to it was quite positive, so it will be one to watch ratings-wise.

The Aussie Mole now has a website – still no mention of a start date other than “soon”, but I shall do another fun little Suspect List competition with this one.

If you’re lucky, I might actually not move house halfway through and keep track of people’s scores a bit better.

    The website is at http://au.tv.yahoo.com/2013-the-mole-australia/
